Travel Bucket Lists

A bucket list is a list of things of things you would like to do, some people put a time on such as before turning a certain age or before they die. Most people have a bucket list, especially if they love to travel they will have a bucket list destination. I think having a bucket list is important as it gives you a goal to achieve and work for. I have a bucket list of destinations and this is my top 5.

1, At the top of my list, is Vietnam and Cambodia.

ever since I saw a picture of Vietnam I have wanted to visit. Learning about the cold war, the Vietnam war and the atrocities that happened in Cambodia with Pol Pots regime during my A-level history really peaked my interest in visiting the 2 countries. I would love to visit them to see the history, the culture, eat the food and see the beautiful scenery the places have to offer, such as the sunrise at Anker Wat in Siem Reap. Most importantly, when I visit Vietnam and Cambodia I would love to volunteer, help teach English or work in the soup kitchens or the orphanages.

2nd on my list is New Zealand.

I would love to see their beautiful beaches, capture the breathtaking scenery. I love photography as much as travelling so to be able to photograph the picturesque views of New Zealand would be a dream.

3rd on my list is a road trip/interrail around Italy.

I love food, especially Italian food so I would be in food heaven. I want to visit the Balsamic Viniger farms in Modona, wine taste in the Tuscan Valley, visit Mount Vesuvius, take a gondola ride through Venice, visit the Colluseum in Rome and eat Pizza in Naples, make pasta in Bologna. There is so much I would like to do in Italy and to take a month or so to travel around Italy and do all of this would be a huge and amazing trip.

4th on my list is a road trip of America.

Similar to Italy, I would like to visit all the good food places I can but also Ski in the mountains of Utah, capture the beautiful coast of Oregon, lay on the hot sandy beaches of Florida, walk down the busy streets of LA, see New York from the top of the empire state, visit the white house in Washington D.C and all the rest in between, there is so much to see and do in America and what's the best way to do it? Road trip with my favourite people with lots of good food, sounds like a good plan right?

5th on my is Cuba.

Havana has been on my list for a long time, I love how the city isn't as modern as most now, the beautiful pastel colours, the gorgeous coastline and the bright green trees, I don't want to be a standard tourist in Cuba, I want to eat and live like the locals, talk to them and really get a feel for what its like to live in Cuba.
